Currently, we're on the hunt for exceptional Consumer Banking lawyers to join our ranks with:
5+ years of experience in a dynamic in-house environment or law firm preferred with excellent academic credentials
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of agreements related to the consumer banking business - payments and credit cards. Credit card acceptance, merchant incentives, award promotions, marketing, prepaid cards, loyalty programs, and co-branding
Experience dealing with payment processing regulations and transaction settlements is a plus
Familiarity with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Gramm Leach Bliley Act, Regulations B and Z, and state consumer protection/deceptive practices laws is a plus
Active NC bar admission
The responsibilities for this role will include:
Providing practical legal advice and support on business matters in a fast-paced environment
Maintaining a high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment and an innovative approach to legal issues in support of strategic business initiatives and objectives
