The National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) seeks a full-time Assistant Director of Legal Resources to work with the Director of Legal Resources and other attorneys to provide legal resources to its members.
Primary duties include: Management of online legal resources and implementation of innovative ways to provide resources through new technologies; development (with instructors) of content for, and management of, online courses; development and implementation of other selected continuing legal education programming, including live workshops and webinars; and assistance in collaborative programming efforts with other higher education associations and on outreach to governmental agencies (note that NACUA does not engage in any lobbying activities). Additional duties include: assistance in development and implementation of the NACUA Annual Conference and other educational initiatives; and handling special projects as assigned.
Requirements: J.D. degree from accredited law school and current law license; excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills; ability to manage effectively multiple and competing priorities simultaneously; excellent organizational skills; interest in and strong understanding of new and existing technologies to enhance legal resources; and excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment and with member volunteers and other staff.
Additional experience preferred: Continuing legal education (CLE) program planning and familiarity with higher education legal issues.

Additional Salary Information: Salary range: between $110,000 and $117,000, depending on experience, with excellent benefits.
