Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) has been exclusively retained by Memorial Healthcare System (Company) to conduct a search for a General Counsel position.
Overview: Serves as the legal counsel to the Board of Commissioners of the South Broward Hospital District, a healthcare system established by the Florida Legislature. The District conducts its operations as Memorial Healthcare System (MHS). Acts as chief legal officer for MHS; provides advice to the Board, the President/CEO, senior management and others on legal, regulatory, enterprise risk and a variety of other matters. Collaborates on and oversees strategic business and legal initiatives, transactions and operations.
