Skillfully negotiate multiple complex technology/licensing agreements (on premise, SaaS, and subscriptions).
Rapidly assess potential risks, benefits and consequences of decisions, present alternatives and propose solutions to achieve business objectives while effectively managing legal and practical business considerations.
Interact directly and effectively with customers' and vendors’ legal, procurement and contracting personnel, as well as internal executive leadership.
Work with cross functional teams (Sales, Marketing, IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to improve processes and forms to achieve better efficiency and productivity.
JD, bar membership in at least one jurisdiction
5+ years of relevant experience in an in-house/law firm capacity, with combined experience highly desired.
History of increasing scope and responsibility. Can work independently with little supervision.
Highly developed contract-related written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Familiarity and comfort with process improvements for procurement, technology sales and licensing, and technology-specific business and legal issues.
Skill developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal clients and external customers.
