The International Game Technology PLC Legal Department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional who will manage a team of legal professionals and will provide general commercial law support, with a focus on review, negotiation, and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer agreements, enterprise agreements, complex bid proposal responses, strategic alliance agreements, service agreements and software and technology agreements for our international business unit. The position will report to the General Counsel and will be located in London, UK.
Work directly with the senior management of the international business team, serving as lead counsel on strategic deals, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries
Work in a fast-paced environment in collaboration with business partners, customers and other lawyers within the group
Manage a team of legal professionals who focus on international legal matters
Draft, review, negotiate and interpret a wide variety of contracts and agreements, including contracts for the provision of gaming goods and services
Review, analyze and provide legal advice in connection with requests for proposals issued by government authorities for the provision of information technology goods and services
Identify legal risks, develop mitigation strategies and counsel internal clients with respect to legal risks and mitigation strategies
Support international mergers & acquisitions and strategic alliances
Proven ability to manage a team of legal professions remotely and contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Customer-oriented interpersonal skills, excellent business judgment and a proven ability to excel working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work closely with, facilitate interactions within, and influence large cross-functional teams (including representatives from law, tax, accounting, regulatory, compliance, operations, human resources, real estate, treasury and communications)
Must be team-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a solution-oriented approach to legal issues
Self-motivated with outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex concepts and issues effectively with all levels of management
Ability to multi-task and work quickly and collaboratively under tight deadlines to meet established deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills
Minimum of ten years of law firm or in-house experience
