Bliss Lawyers is seeking an insurance attorney to work in the New York City office of an insurance company. Qualified candidates will have at least five years of experience drafting and negotiating group annuity and group insurance products, including Stable Value products and collective investment trust documentation. Experience with and understanding of the Securities Act of 1933, the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, FINRA rules and regulations as they relate to insurance products, and a basic understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 are required. The attorney hired for this role will be responsible for providing legal analysis and advice on product development and underwriting activities, regulatory filing and registration requirements, and marketing materials and practices; drafting, reviewing and revising product documentation; and other duties as assigned. Admission to the New York Bar is required. This is a full-time, temporary role that is expected to last for at least one year and may extend or convert to a permanent position with the company. Interviews will start immediately and the position will begin as soon as a qualified candidate is identified.
