Bliss Lawyers is seeking a labor and employment attorney to work in the office of a global consumer goods company. The preferred candidate will be based in Winnebago County, WI though candidates who can work in other offices of the company around the US as well as remotely will also be considered. Qualified candidates will have at least five years of experience with employment and labor laws, including demonstrated experience with: Employee terminations, Restrictive covenants, ADA, Discrimination/Harassment based on protected classes, Contingent workforce and Labor relations. Experience dealing with multi-national corporations is preferred. The attorney in this position will be responsible for providing legal information, analysis and advice to ensure compliance with applicable US and global labor and employment laws and regulations. Admission to the state bar in which the candidate is located is required. This is a full time (40 – 50 hours per week), temporary role that is expected to last for at least three months and may extend. While this role may be performed remotely, candidates should be able to work on site at least twice a month and candidates who can work onsite are preferred. Interviews will begin as soon as qualified candidates are identified and this position is expected to start in mid-September.
