This position supports the legal and compliance needs of FormFactor, Inc., a global, publicly traded technology company in Livermore, CA. The Legal Counsel will play a key role in the continued growth of the company and be relied upon to support a broad range of legal affairs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including sales and purchasing agreements and related documents
Move daily work flow to fast completion while enabling knowledge management
Legal operations support (synthesize information, compile documents and research)
Aid in the efficient administration of relevant policies and compliance programs
Support the management of litigation and complex transactions
Assist the General Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel with various projects
Perform other duties as assigned in areas such as subsidiary governance, intellectual property, and training
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCEAND SKILLSREQUIRED
Minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience
Bachelor’s degree required, Juris Doctor preferred
Effective problem-solving skills
Superior organizational skills and a strong command of common applications, such as MS Office, DocuSign and Acrobat Pro
Interest in technology and intellectual property
Sound business judgment with the ability to be proactive and capable of recognizing priorities among multiple assignments
