Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) has been exclusively retained by The Home Depot, Inc. (Company) to conduct a search for a Senior Corporate Counsel – Corporate & Securities.
Overview: Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, the Senior Corporate Counsel – Securities represents the Company in securities and corporate finance matters as well as mergers and acquisitions. The Counsel supports the AGC with all filings with the SEC, securities matters and offerings, corporate governance and board issues, treasury matters, subsidiary management, and M&A activity. S/he will also provide regulatory and compliance counseling with respect to many substantive areas including federal securities laws, stock exchange requirements, and state corporate laws, and will support a broad array of internal business clients, including investor relations, financial reporting, stock administration, public relations, treasury, and strategic business development.

Compensation:Competitive compensation package.
Experience: 8+ years of legal experience, with a preference for prior experience as in-house counsel. The ideal candidate will have experience in SEC and securities, corporate governance, M&A, and regulatory and compliance matters.
Bar: Admittance to at least one U.S. State Bar.
