Top law firm and/or in-house credentials.
5-15 years of legal experience supporting major capital projects for oil and gas companies.
Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements including but not limited to: FEED, EPC, EPCm, and construction services.
Experience supporting clients on major capital projects through contract negotiation, subcontracting and purchasing, project execution, and warranty.
Experience drafting subcontract and purchase order standard forms.
Experience preparing claims or defenses in significant construction disputes.
Excellent academic credentials, active membership in the Texas Bar required, and ability to be on-site in Houston.
The responsibilities for this role will include:
Drafting, negotiating, and implementing EPC agreements and providing a wide range of advice on EPC matters.
Working with and advising business clients directly, as well as providing guidance and practical solutions.
Maintaining a high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment
Providing superb attention to detail and the ability to ramp-up quickly in new environments and teams.
