Overview: The Deputy General Counsel – Regulatory Affairs will partner with WMATA’s legal team and senior executives, in both staff and operations, advising them on regulatory matters and providing them with legal and business advice to support their needs. This highly visible role will report directly to the General Counsel and be based at WMATA’s Washington, D.C. headquarters.
Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in regulatory matters with a corporate legal department, the federal government, or a nationally recognized law firm. Experience with the following matters is required: wage and hour law, Title II, Title VI, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, DBE, WARN, OSHA and EPA.

Location: Washington, DC.
Relos: Local candidates preferred.
Bar: Must be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and able to become a member of the District of Columbia Bar within one year.
