OneMain Holdings, the nation’s leading consumer finance company and an NYSE-listed public company, has an opening for a securities attorney in its Evansville, Indiana or Baltimore, Maryland office.
This position will provide legal support for SEC reporting, corporate finance and general corporate matters. The attorney will be a key member of the corporate disclosure team, with responsibility for SEC reporting (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements and other filings), earnings releases and NYSE compliance. In addition, the attorney will assist with corporate finance transactions, including public debt offerings and securitizations.
The preferred candidate will have at least 10-15 years of public company securities law experience, including extensive experience working with 1933 and 1934 Act filings. Mergers and acquisitions experience is a plus.
The candidate must possess a law degree from an accredited law school, be admitted to the bar by the highest court of any state (and be eligible for admission to the Indiana or Maryland Bar) and have strong academic credentials.
