Home Depot is seeking an attorney for a senior manager-level position in the Corporate Law group of its law department. Successful candidate must have a JD from an accredited law school with 7-10 years of experience as a contract negotiations or corporate/transactional attorney in a law firm or corporation. Candidate will support the Associate General Counsel with supply chain regulatory, transactional and supply chain/logistics responsibilities. Candidate will assist a broad array of internal business clients with contract negotiations and counseling and provide regulatory and compliance counseling with respect to many substantive areas including FCPA and international trade compliance. A customer service focus and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are required. Must also have excellent organizational, verbal and written communications skills. The person in this position represents the Company in many supply chain/logistics contract negotiations and regulatory matters, and advises clients on a broad array of distribution, transportation and logistics legal issues. The person will also support the anti-bribery and FCPA compliance program and will assist with international regulatory and corporate work.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Contract drafting and negotiation and related client counseling for multiple business clients, including distribution, transportation and logistics. E-commerce, delivery and IT contracting experience preferred.
Support anti-bribery/FCPA compliance program, including investigatory work, counseling and research projects.
International trade regulatory support for company import and export operations.
Manage outside counsel.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to Associate General Counsel – International, Supply Chain & Regulatory. Areas of specialization are contract negotiation, international trade regulatory, business law and corporate governance.
Some direct responsibility for supervising others.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 6 years Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. Current in house or law firm experience with significant supply chain contract negotiation skills, FCPA compliance and supply chain regulatory experience.
