We have been retained by a global, publicly held biotech company headquartered in the Princeton, NJ area to conduct its search for an Intellectual Property Attorney to join its expanding law department. Reporting to the Lead IP lawyer, this position calls for a patent lawyer with an academic degree in biological sciences and/or deep professional experience in biologics. In addition to facilitating domestic and foreign patent preparations and prosecutions, the lawyer will handle a variety of IP related issues, including publication reviews, agreement negotiation and support, IP due diligence, and IP litigation management. Qualified candidates will present 5+ years’ experience in patent preparation and prosecution as well as IP due diligence analyses in the biologics space in a law firm or corporate setting. The ideal candidate will be a creative, strategic thinker with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
