Major, Lindsey & Africa has been retained to conduct a search for an AssociateCounsel – Contracts & Procurement for Stericycle, Inc. Stericycle is a leading global medical, pharmaceutical and hazardous waste management and compliance service company. In addition to waste management and compliance services, Stericycle provides brand protection, patient and customer communication, and secure information destruction services. The company employs approximately 23,500 team members, operates in 22 countries and is a Fortune 1000 company ranking 650 in 2017.
The Associate Counsel will provide professional, timely and practical legal advice and support to Stericycle’s Sales and Procurement organizations, with a focus on contracts with government customers. This attorney will implement and manage the company’s government contract administration program and provide strategic direction and oversight of all contracts programs and agreements in accordance with the company’s requirements, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. The successful candidate for this role will have 10-15 (ten to fifteen) years of transactional legal experience, with substantial experience with government contracts and counterparties. Top-tier law firm training preferred, and prior in-house experience will be a clear advantage.
