Overview: U.S. Silica seeks a seasoned General Counsel and executive to lead and manage all aspects of its legal function. The position will report to U.S. Silica’s President & CEO and will provide the senior management team and the Board of Directors with business-oriented legal advice on Company strategies and their implementation, provide company-wide legal support, oversee outside counsel and serve as corporate secretary.

Experience: The successful candidate will have a minimum 15+ year of broad-based legal experience handling with sophisticated legal issues in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, global business setting. The successful candidate must have corporate governance experience, including board involvement, as well as strong securities regulatory experience and possess a strong commercial acumen In addition, the successful candidate will have broad based corporate transactional responsibility including commercial contracts and strategic M&A.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience to include base salary, short and long-term incentives and benefits.
Location: Katy, TX (Houston metropolitan area).
