The In-House Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support to the Company’s management and employees, including providing legal support to the various business units (Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Human Resources, Corporate, Finance, IT, etc.)
The ideal candidate will have extensive in-house experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts from start to finish with short turnaround cycles on a day-to-day basis, in line with company policies and risk tolerance, in the following areas:
Master Services Agreements/ Statements of Work
Master Supply Agreements
Clinical Research Agreements
Clinical Supply Agreements
Employment and Consultant Agreements
Laboratory Service Agreements
Software license Agreements
In-house Pharma or Biotech experience is strongly preferred
D. with a minimum of 6 years of in-house experience required
Provide practical, legal solutions, advice and support to all levels of management and employees regarding issues and risks related to ongoing and expanding business.
Strong background in general corporate and transactional work is essential
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, processing multiple transactions from inception to completion simultaneously
Excellent skills in drafting, analyzing and communicating contractual terms to internal clients, especially the ability to draft contract language that is clear, concise, and easily understood.
Must be business minded and have the ability to balance legal and business risks in a fast-paced environment
Able to select, retain and supervise outside counsel worldwide, as needed.
Self-motivating, with sound judgment and exceptional interpersonal skills
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
