Overview: Campari is seeking a smart, self-motivated, Spanish speaking attorney who is interested in learning about a unique industry – alcohol beverages – in an international context. This position will cover a variety of corporate matters, with a special emphasis on industry and government affairs, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance in North America. Specific alcohol beverage experience is not necessary if the right person comes with a desire and ability to learn quickly. This attorney will report to Campari’s General Counsel for the North American region and will support its affiliates in Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, and the United States, as well as its parent company in Italy. He or she will work with and advise internal clients at different levels and in different departments throughout the region.

Location: New York, NY
Experience: A minimum of seven years of experience as a practicing attorney with a law firm and/or in-house. Experience with issues of international trade and/or government affairs. Fluency in verbal and written Spanish required.
Travel: 10-20% of time will be required travel.
Compensation: Competitive base and bonus, commensurate with experience.
Relocation: Yes, this is a national search.
Bar: Admission to NY State Bar or CA State Bar, in good standing.
