Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) has been exclusively retained by Confidential Company (Company) to conduct a search for an Associate General Counsel & Head of Compliance position.
Overview: The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Head of Compliance (AGC) to join its team in a hybrid legal / compliance role. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the AGC will support the consumer finance and commercial operations teams within the organization to help grow the Company’s core business and help expand into adjacent lines while helping to manage the Company’s risk exposure.
Company: The Confidential Company is a rapidly growing FinTech company based in New York, NY. More information on the Company will be provided to candidates once they return a signed NDA to MLA.
Experience: Candidates should possess at least ten years of relevant legal experience, including in the consumer finance regulatory markets and exposure to a transactional finance based practice. Foundational training at an AmLaw 200 or equivalent boutique law firm in corporate finance transactions is required. Prior in-house experience is desired, but not required.
