Provide primary support for the Procurement, Supply and Operations teams
Assist other key support functions within the organization, such as Human Resources, Finance, Merchandising, Information Technology and Facilities
Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including transportation, equipment and personal property purchase and/or leasing agreements, IT infrastructure and software agreements, facilities operations and maintenance agreements (e.g., fire, security, maintenance, janitorial), vendor purchase, professional servicing, recruiting/staffing, intellectual property licensing and media agreements, among others
Provide litigation and compliance support, as may be required
The Ideal Candidate will:
Exercise excellent judgement and common sense
Employ a practical, business-oriented approach to solving problems
Navigate competing priorities and deliver results within agreed time limits
Be a self-starter; ready to assume significant responsibility in a small, fast-paced legal department
Have excellent communication and organizational skills
JD from an accredited school with exceptional academic credentials
Has at least five years of combined experience in-house and/or with a national law firm
Extensive experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
Familiarity with law relating to e-commerce, such as privacy and advertising
Member in good standing with the Florida bar or eligible to attain Florida house counsel exemption
