Major, Lindsey & Africa has been exclusively engaged to identify a Vice President, Associate General Counsel – Enterprise Information Technology and Privacy for Cardinal Health, Inc. This newly-created role will lead the Company’s legal support for information technology and privacy by managing, overseeing, and providing legal advice, counsel, and services to Cardinal Health’s domestic and international businesses. This lawyer will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel – Corporate & Securities and, in turn, will supervise a team of other lawyers and professionals. This role is located at headquarters in Dublin, Ohio.
The successful candidate will hold Juris Doctor, be a member (in good standing) of at least one State Bar, and possess a minimum of twelve (12) years of legal practice including tenure in reputable law firms and/or a corporate in-house department working on a wide variety of information technology and privacy matters, including data usage and security. Privacy experience, including expertise with HIPAA and GDPR (EU), preferred.
