Major, Lindsey & Africa has been retained by the Hyatt Corporation to lead a search for the company’s Director of Legal Services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years of experience doing public company corporate governance work. Some experience in the corporate department of a large law firm is preferred. Significant paralegal experience or a J.D. from an accredited law school is required. This position will play an integral role with regard to Hyatt’s corporate secretarial activities, particularly as they relate to the company’s numerous domestic and international subsidiaries. This person will support the subsidiaries’ governance frameworks and regulatory requirements, including preparing and filing documentation, organizing and maintaining meeting records, and more. The Director will support senior lawyers in the Legal Department, as well as client groups within the organization. The position is located at the company’s headquarters in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
