Contracts attorney with experience in the insurance industry who can also work on corporate governance and corporate transactional matters. The attorney will be mainly responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts involving the administration, marketing, sales, distribution and underwriting of specialty health insurance products (such as supplemental health, pet insurance, disability and group life insurance) as well as vendor agreements, services agreements, IT-related agreements and leases. Corporate governance matters include corporate filings with the Secretary of State, board meetings, annual shareholders’ meetings and proxy statements, public company matters, maintaining minute books, and managing records management database.
