Bliss Lawyers is seeking a Records and Information Management Contract Attorney to work for a global law firm. The preferred candidate will be based in Boston but candidates from around the country will also be entertained and if hired, the candidate will work in another office of the law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience advising clients on the management of information for compliance and litigation. The qualified attorney will be responsible for: drafting, reviewing, and revising client records and information management policies and procedures; developing, updating, and vetting client record retention schedules; performing research regarding state and federal recordkeeping, data use, and storage and disposition requirements; preparing project plans, budgets, and other client pitch materials; and, assisting the practice chair with other projects as needed. This is a full-time role that may involve some overtime. This is a temporary opportunity that will begin immediately and last until the end of August. Interviews will begin as soon as appropriate candidates are identified.
