Our client, a NYSE-listed, leading global medical devices manufacturer and distributer, is looking for a personable and capable lawyer with at least 5-10 years of strong contract drafting and negotiating experience focused on medical devices.
The position will focus primarily on drafting, review and negotiation of contracts, including pricing agreements, GPO and IDN agreements, discount program agreements, supply and vendor agreements, distribution agreements, license agreements, government contracts, service agreements, consulting agreements, and other contracts.
5-10 years of legal experience, preferably at least 3 years in a law firm and at least 2 years in an in-house legal department. If direct from law firm, 6-7 years experience ideal and experience working with medical device clients required.
Working knowledge of anti-kickback laws
Experience representing medical device or other health care company
Experience drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements
Strong drafting skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Highest integrity and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently
Ability to travel up to 5-10%
