Make an immediate impact by using his/her legal creativity and excellent speaking and writing skills on a team charged with building long term customer relationships through solutions that improve patient outcomes at reduced costs in an ever changing healthcare environment. Provide commercial legal support to the Philips Large Scale Projects Sales Team, including drafting commercial documents and developing over time templates and standard processes that will support and accelerate sales growth and deepen customer relationships and trust.
Partner with the Philips North American Legal Compliance Team, Philips Finance, Philips Marketing, Philips Capital and other subject matter experts to support the various commercial sales needs related to such “Projects.”
Support other sales teams within the larger Philips North American Sales framework.
This position is located in Andover, Massachusetts (Boston area) but internal clients are located across the US.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Requires a JD from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to a state bar.
5-7 years of experience in either a corporate environment or with a law firm.
Strong writing and verbal skills. Strong negotiating and advocacy skills that build customer relationships.
Knowledge of familiarity with financial instruments and related financial structures.
Candidates having prior leasing experience or a background supporting the sale of a Product and Service Solutions having multiple variable factors that impact the calculation of total price are preferable.
Experience working on multidisciplinary teams that deal with selling complex products, service and solutions.
Working familiarity with Healthcare Compliance laws (i.e. Medicare Fraud and Abuse, the Personal Services Safe Harbor, Sunshine Law, and HIPAA) a must.
Organized, energetic, a focus on practical resolutions and consensus builder is a key character trait for the successful candidate.
Seasoned at issue spotting terms that affect revenue recognition or order intake based on complex project solutions sold to customers is a plus.
Selected lawyer is expected to build a strong rapport with the business teams he/she will be supporting and, therefore, strong business acumen is also required as well as capacity to prioritize conflicting priorities.
Ability to travel.
Persuasive presentation and counseling skills.
A passion for improving the delivery of healthcare.
