(“Anixter”) to identify a Corporate Counsel to work at Anixter’s headquarters in Glenview, Illinois (a Chicago suburb). The Corporate Counsel will be a key member of the Americas legal team and will provide commercial legal support to Anixter’s North American Sales, Product Marketing, and Procurement Teams. The right candidate will have at least six (6) to ten (10) years of substantial hands-on commercial legal experience, including a minimum of two (2) years in-house in a medium to large multinational company. S/he will have extensive drafting and negotiating skills and experience, and deep knowledge and understanding of U.S. commercial law. Experience and knowledge of Canadian commercial law is a plus. Real estate experience is an advantage. This attorney will be a member of Anixter’s global Legal Department consisting of 12 attorneys and will report to Anixter’s Assistant General Counsel and Regional Compliance Officer.
