Located at our Global Headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania we are in search of two Counsel – Attorney’s. The Counsel - Attorney will support multiple business units and will lead and support the review, drafting and negotiation of commercial sales and purchase transactions or focus on litigation and disputes. S/he supports a broad range of commercial and legal matters and will serve as a legal point of contact supporting the business units on day-to-day commercial and contractual matters.
A successful Associate Counsel - Attorney has excellent negotiation and drafting skills, demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, and works collaboratively with our businesses, cross-functional teams and other members of the Legal Department to effectively mitigate commercial risks and to support corporate strategies and business objectives. There are deadlines and competing projects that require the Associate Counsel – Attorney to use their strong project management, time management, and communication skills to effectively solve the business need and to also work within this fast-paced and team oriented work environment.
Basic Qualifications (required):
PA Bar License
At least 4 years of commercial law experience in at least one practice areas, including business litigation, commercial law and sales, mergers and acquisitions, employment law and securities and financing
Preferred Qualifications (in addition J.D. and PA Bar License):
At least 6 years of commercial law experience in at least one practice areas, including business litigation, commercial law and sales, mergers and acquisitions, employment law and securities and financing
