We are working with an exciting Company that has a need for a transactional technology attorney.
The attorney will be expected to: Handle a broad range of legal and business affairs matters, including a wide variety of matters relating to technology, privacy and data security.
Negotiating, drafting, analyzing, and participating in technology related transactions, including cloud services deals, SaaS and IaaS deals, application development agreements and inbound licensing and outsourced development deals.
Structuring technology transactions in a manner that takes into consideration tax impacts and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements across the US and Latin America.
Taking responsibility for privacy/ data security matters, including modifications of and compliance with privacy policies, advice relating to privacy by design projects and various data initiatives and continuing compliance with applicable regulatory requirements across US and Latin America.
Supporting all other areas of the Company’s business with respect to technology, privacy and data protection issues.
Juris Doctorate with minimum of eight (8) years combined major law firm and/or in-house counsel experience.
Strong Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.
Experience drafting and negotiating complex transactions, with superior communications, analytical, problem solving, and writing skills.
