The Associate General Counsel will handle a broad range of responsibilities relevant to our business, including legal support for investment transactions and structures, general commercial activities, counterparty negotiations, and various portfolio company matters. The work encompasses structuring, transactional, contractual and litigation matters and requires solid drafting and confident negotiation skills. This position will work closely with finance and operations personnel at senior levels within the Group and portfolio companies.

Oversight and leadership of the day-to-day operations of legal representation of the Company.
Broad range of legal responsibilities for portfolio investment transactions, particularly asset acquisitions and investments, including reviewing, drafting and negotiating term sheets, purchase and sale agreements, as well as managing U.S. and foreign outside counsel relationships.
Negotiating, drafting and implementing a wide variety of complex, multi-party agreements, including licensing, joint venture, acquisition and disposition documents.
Following and providing analysis of relevant litigation, regulatory and market developments.
Participating as a senior member of management, working directly with the executive team to understand strategic initiatives and business needs, providing legal and business counsel, and establishing and influencing appropriate ethical standards and legal considerations.
Participating as part of a special strategic initiative to restructure the corporate organization to enhance the operations through future generations. Emphasis and focus will be from both the ownership and day-to-day management standpoint.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization; requiring judgment and self-confidence but also respect for others, regardless of position, and the willingness to work as a team member.
Personal credibility and the ability to articulate legal positions and strategies concisely and quickly, in a manner that is useful and easily understood by management and personnel at all levels.
J.D. degree and several years relevant work experience; should have quality engagement in transactional work.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong team player who combines interpersonal and communication skills along with keen analytical capabilities.
Excellent work ethic that demonstrates initiative, problem solving and continuous learning.
