General Commercial/Contracts, Mergers/Acquisitions, Real Estate
This position will report to the Senior Corporate Counsel, Director of Legal Services, and provide direct transactional support to internal groups as well work closely with outside counsel on a variety of real estate and corporate related matters. The focus will include data center lease transactions.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Provide transactional support for:
Sales executives to include the drafting, review, and negotiation of data center service and lease agreements; and
Senior Corporate Counsel with real estate transactions to include acquisitions, easements, financings, and sales including related due diligence review.
Support Senior Corporate Counsel with general corporate matters and various legal projects.
Others projects and duties as assigned.
Proven experience drafting and editing leases and other commercial contracts.
Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and work independently and with a team to meet deadlines and drive transactions to completion.
Aptitude to apply sound and practical business judgment to achieve desired results.
Ability to be successful in a continually changing work environment and be comfortable navigating through new situations.
Forward thinking and possess a willingness to continually improve processes.
Desire to provide outstanding service to a diverse group of internal teams and the Company’s valued customers.
Be admitted to practice in a state bar (preferably Washington) and in good standing, or be eligible to be admitted within 6 months of hire.
J. D. degree from ABA-accredited law school.
3+ years of relevant real estate specific experience preferred.
