Our client, a dynamic and well-respected Silicon Valley technology company, is seeking an organized, energetic team player who will be a business partner to their fastest-growing businesses. This role will interact with business executives, product teams, sales force, and customers.
Key responsibilities for this role will include the following:
Provide business and legal advice to their growth business
Assist sales team and other stakeholders in understanding legal and contract concepts and implications
Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial, IP and other contracts
With oversight, implement processes and advise on special projects
With oversight, provide training and develop programs to protect IP and accomplish business goals.
Perform general legal research and due diligence in connection with the above.
Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be considered:
-Two to six years of legal experience with a major law firm with a focus in the following area: o Commercial matters and transactions (buy-sell) o Transactions involving the sale, licensing purchase or IP assets o Licensing (including software licensing) o Financing and M&A transactions o Understanding of patent law.
Additional Salary Information: A strong compensation package, including equity, will be offered.
