The Assistant General Counsel – Environmental will serve as HollyFrontier’s environmental counsel as a key member of a legal team that is highly valued by the company and its leadership. The counsel will report directly to the HollyFrontier General Counsel and work closely with employees at every level within the organization. The Counsel will be expected to provide oversight, counseling and legal advice/support on environmental matters. A minimum of ten years of experience as a licensed attorney is required. A background in the petroleum refining industry as well as regulatory agency experience is a plus but not required.

A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a licensed attorney with progressive and strong experience in environmental regulatory and permitting. Experience within the energy industry (specifically petroleum refinery) as well as working within a regulatory agency is a plus.
