Position: The VP of Legal will need to be a jack of all trades with deep experience, great creativity, and strong moral judgment and attention to details. It is also important to TpT that the VP of Legal is a great team player and someone with a real passion for education and teachers.
Compensation: Competitive compensation package including base, bonus and equity.
Location/Relocation: New York, NY/Yes
Experience: The successful candidate will have at least 10 years relevant legal experience, including experience managing a legal team. The ideal candidate will be a true generalist, with exposure to handling complex legal questions in a variety of areas, including but not limited to, employment, commercial transactions, securities and corporate governance, marketing, intellectual property and privacy. Publishing experience is preferred, as is education experience at the K-12 level.
