Parker + Lynch’s client, an innovative real estate investment company, is seeking a Senior Level Real Estate attorney to fill a key role in its DC Area office as a Legal Counsel. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work with a robust company within the commercial leasing sector. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and includes benefits, and a yearly bonus structure! The firm is open to local candidates as well as to relocation candidates.
The primary focus of the role is to handle various real estate transactional matters including drafting and negotiating retail real estate leases and supporting documents. Job duties also include communicating and interacting with company’s real estate clients on matters of leasing, property management, lease administration and department as well as tenants, counsel and brokers, identifying potential legal issues in individual real estate transactions, and managing outside counsel.
A minimum of 7 years’ relevant real estate retail leasing experience post law school (negotiating and drafting retail and office leases and other real estate documents) is required. Other qualifications include stellar academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and outstanding organizational and management skills.
