SOFTWARE LICENSING AGREEMENTS ATTORNEY POSITION WITH ONE OF THE WORLD’S MOST PROFITABLE COMPANIES
Hawryluk Advisors has been retained exclusively by Saudi Aramco, the world's largest integrated oil, natural gas, and petrochemicals company, to find an attorney with 6+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated software licenses and other IT agreements for its Law Organization at its headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to step into a key role with one of the world's largest companies. The attorney will work closely with internal clients and support the company's various business units by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating in-bound software license agreements and other technology agreements. The attorney’s main clients will include Saudi Aramco’s IT Department, which licenses software in Microsoft, SAP, etc., and the Expec (Exploration & Production) Computer Center, which runs super computers and has specialized software programs to support drilling, management of reservoirs, and other related activities.
Additional responsibilities will include updating the company’s pro-forma templates and training and guiding the company’s Contracting and IT departments. The candidate will also work on a variety and mix of other commercial contracts and general corporate matters.
Candidates for this position should have: 1) at least 6+ years of relevant experience with a strong law firm, large corporation or other sophisticated business organization; 2) excellent negotiation and communication skills; and 3) experience providing concise, clear, support to internal clients. Information technology industry, energy industry (oil and gas, petrochemical, power or oil field services) and international experience are a plus.
Candidates must be currently licensed, admitted to practice, and in good standing in the United States, and have a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
