We are recruiting for attorneys with commercial contracting experience for full-time, part-time and flex-time assignments (onsite and telecommuting) with our east coast clients (Amtrak corridor DC to Boston).
Traditional legal service models continue to give way to alternative and value driven service models. If you are an attorney who is looking to identify opportunities to practice within this ever-changing legal services delivery world, then consider joining CYLA, the substantive project\secondment attorney division of JURISolutions (JSL). Our east coast client portfolio includes Fortune 500 companies, mid-size privately held corporations, AMLAW firms and boutique firms.
In addition to their current needs, many of our clients project a significant increase of their needs over the next 12 – 24 months. In order to address the current and future needs of our east coast clients we are recruiting in an effort to expand our project attorney teams.
Some of the industries we serve include: financial services; technology; pharmaceutical; life sciences; healthcare; entertainment; government; energy; retail; transportation; insurance; hospitality; education; manufacturing and others.
Examples of the type of commercial contracts experience we are seeking to serve our clients include:
- Deep experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a commercial transactions and agreements such as: MSAs; agency, distribution and franchise; clinical trial; sale and purchase of goods and/or services; licensing; service agreements and maintenance contracts; information technology and e-commerce related agreements; intellectual property licenses and assignments; marketing and sponsorship agreements; commercial leases; derivatives; technology (software/hardware); CDAs/NDAs; government contracts; joint venture agreements; purchase and supply agreements; and outsourcing agreements.
In addition to the commercial contracts experience, the following qualifications and credentials are generally preferred:
- Experience mitigating risk and providing sound business advice while recognizing and identifying relevant regulatory guidelines and laws impacting your industry.
- Active membership to a state bar (preferably to the state in which you reside and intend to work).
- A desire to work in fast-paced and sophisticated environments, while providing exceptional legal advice and business support.
