A global telecommunications company seeks a highly motivated attorney with a minimum of five to ten years' of telecom or top law firm experience with emphasis on an M&A practice. Candidates should have experience on a wide variety of M&A matters, including due diligence preparation and review, financings, strategic and/or minority investments and real estate sales and/or leasing. This is good opportunity for a senior corporate associate who wants to move to an in-house role with the opportunity to manage multiple matters in an exciting, fast-paced international environment. The position will report directly to the global legal head of M&A. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, who have passion, and excellent communication skills.
reviewing, drafting and negotiating M&A/financing transactional agreements with minimal supervision;
advising business/sales teams of relevant issues; and
working collaboratively within the broader legal team , e.g., regulatory, compliance and IP teams, to ensure company policy and procedures are followed.
Skills / Experience Requirements:
A J.D., LLB or LLM (or foreign equivalent) with admission to the bar in at least one relevant jurisdiction
a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of post-qualification experience
Major law firm M&A experience preferred
Strong drafting and negotiation skills along with excellent business judgment and strategic thinking
Effectiveness within a fast-paced environment
Hardworking, well organized and able to manage multiple matters at the same time
Ability to work independently and as a member of a global team
