Parker + Lynch Legal is working with a growing national retail corporation that is relocating its corporate headquarters to the Raleigh area and is searching for an Employment Litigation Counsel. This position will report directly to the General Counsel and will manage all employment-related legal matters, as well as advise regarding general civil litigation as-needed.
At least five years of experience dedicated to employment litigation and counseling.
Experience representing national clients, ideally including retail clients.
Familiarity with California-specific employment laws and regulations, including experience representing clients either based in or with operations in California.
Extensive experience responding to EEOC charges.
Experience advising corporate clients regarding hiring, termination, discipline, and allegations of discrimination, as well as experience involving wage and hour matters.
A JD from a well-regarded law school and a license to practice law in any US jurisdiction, with the ability to become licensed in North Carolina.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Bonus based on company and personal performance.
