Our client, an emerging NYC-based biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Contracts Attorney to review, draft, and negotiate all types of contracts from all stakeholders of the business. This position is meant for a self-starter looking to join a small legal department in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic, and fun environment. Experience in biotech or life sciences preferred, but not required. Ability to handle intense pressure and multiple tasks, prioritize appropriately, and quickly adapt to new situations are must-haves. Although the main responsibility of this role will be contracts, this company would also welcome potential contributions to other areas of the legal department. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of in-house, law firm, and/or relevant industry experience (pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience preferred). Compensation will be competitive and will include equity in this rapidly growing company.
