Our Legal Department and Practice Acquisition Team is seeking to add a “Corporate Counsel” to assist with the legal work in connection with our practice acquisition efforts, and also to provide general legal support to our local practice management teams.
The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for:
Assisting the Acquisition Team in initial purchase negotiation processes
Drafting and negotiating all acquisition documents
Advising on regulatory and compliance matters, and completing various regulatory filings
Administering contracts and leases
Supporting corporate and individual practice legal needs, including, but not limited to, labor and employment, compliance, litigation supervision, and regulatory matters
Qualifications and Requirements:
At least five years of M&A experience working in a law firm or in a comparable in-house capacity
Self-motivated, results-oriented and expertly organized work style
A proven legal professional, with a developed business orientation and strong business judgment skills
A “hands-on” philosophy, and strong interpersonal and collaborative skills required
