M&A Attorney (NYC): Our client, a highly profitable company, seeks an experienced M&A attorney with 3+ years of relevant experience to join its expanding business. This is not a typical in-house position in a "cost center" capacity of a legal department. This is a revenue generating position for an M&A attorney who would join a highly successful and dynamic business that is expanding rapidly, and therefore offering significant opportunity for growth. In addition to offering M&A experience, candidates must possess the business savvy, ability to assess risk, sophistication and pragmatism to transition to a role where they would utilize their legal experience to contribute directly to the company’s operations. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with both lawyers and non-lawyers – inside and outside the company – are essential. Strong writing ability, analytical ability and sound judgment also required. The work day is fast paced, but the work environment offers a work / life balance and lifestyle that are superior to large law firms, as well as most in-house positions.
