This Fortune 100 Company at the forefront of technology seeks a patent attorney for a new position supporting one of its newest innovations. As a member of this team, you will interact directly with the business and technology teams to introduce and protect new equipment and systems, work with engineers and developers to identify protectable aspects of their inventions; partner with outside counsels on preparing, filing and prosecuting the company’s foreign and domestic patent portfolio; and counsel clients on patent issues arising from business transactions. This role relates to a number of technologies, including robotics, mechatronics, autonomous vehicles, material handling, control systems, machine learning, web services, and e-commerce.

Qualified candidates will:
Be a registered patent attorney with 6-12 years of experience with patent matters related to hardware and/or software, sensor and machine learning.
Have a degree in electrical engineering (EE), computer science (CS), or computer engineering (CE) (mechanical engineering (ME) will also be considered for candidates who have experience working with relevant technologies).
