The Inmar legal team is seeking an experienced, multi-disciplinary attorney to provide sound advice regarding a broad range of legal risks and opportunities. At the direction of the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel, the Sr. Corporate Counsel / Corporate Counsel will advise the business and develop, draft, review, edit and manage contracts in and across a variety of subject matter areas, which may include: general corporate; customer and vendor agreements; advertising, marketing and promotions (including agency agreements, contests, and sweepstakes); services; software and intellectual property licensing; mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures (including deal negotiation, drafting, and due diligence review); employment; and regulatory compliance (including HIPAA and data rights). The Sr. Corporate Counsel / Corporate Cousel may also assist with litigation efforts, including discovery.
This role will require an ability to thrive at a fast-paced and growing technology company, where strategic thinking and problem-solving is imperative. This attorney will have meaningful opportunities to interact with all levels of management and be responsible for complex projects.
For a Sr. Corporate Cousel we require a minimum of 8 years’ experience within a corporate legal department or comparable relevant legal experience.
For a Corporate Counsel we require a minimum of 3-5 years' experience within a corporate legal department or comparable relevant legal experience.
Substantial exposure to various legal issues including commercial contracts, litigation, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, data rights, antitrust, and mergers & acquisitions.
Ability to provide legal advice in a straightforward manner in order to help business units appropriately manage risk.
Strong customer focus and enthusiastic support of sales efforts.
Bar: Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; the North Carolina bar preferred.
