As an advertising & marketing services industry lawyer focusing primarily on complex client contracts and reporting to the head of the legal department, this lawyer will be expected to serve as a business partner and have a strong understanding of the industry, preferably also in the areas of data security and privacy. The successful candidate will possess superb interpersonal skills, a strong team orientation and 5-7 years of relevant industry experience, including drafting and negotiating of complex client contracts. The position requires a self-starter with a sense of urgency, someone who works well under pressure with tight deadlines, has an ability to multi-task and handle unanticipated situations effectively.
Day-to-day advice, including reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements including master services agreements and statements of work with clients as well as various vendor agreements.
Experience in the marketing & advertising services industry especially in the areas of data security and privacy.
Prior law firm experience.
Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice to various levels of constituents.
