The specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• With supervision from the Legal Director, act as a transactional lawyer supporting the M&A team on global acquisition and divestiture transactions;
• Negotiate NDAs, term sheets and definitive transaction documentation for acquisition and divestiture transactions, equity investments and strategic alliances; and
• Act as an internal leader in all aspects of acquisition and divestiture projects across the world, including the diligence process, documentation drafting, documentation negotiation and closing process.
The successful candidate must be a strong leader with considerable executive presence, personal drive, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an acute attention to details. The qualified individual must be able to quickly gain the trust and respect of senior management by serving as a pragmatic yet strategic partner in business and legal decisions. Finally, the most favorable candidate must be a team player and have a strong sense of character, integrity, self-confidence and ethical leadership.
Juris Doctorate from top law school
• Minimum of 3 years experience handling domestic & international M&A transactions in a top law firm or a combination of law firm and in-house positions.
