Position Summary: This newly created position reports to the General Counsel and is an attorney supporting a wide range of executive compensation and employee benefits matters, both on an ongoing basis and in connection with corporate transactions. Also opportunity to work on other matters beyond these primary matters.
Major Job Accountabilities:
Support a wide range of executive compensation and employee benefits matters, both on an ongoing basis and in connection with corporate transactions
Advise with respect to executive compensation, corporate, tax, employee benefits and ERISA implications of the Company’s compensatory arrangements, plans policies and benefit programs
Support General Counsel in matters related to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors and the Company's Benefits Committee
Support matters during proxy season, including assisting in drafting the proxy statement and support on shareholder outreach related to executive compensation and corporate governance
Support the development of communications directed to executives and other key management with regard to executive benefits
Design and draft agreements, plans, policies, and other documents relating to executive compensation and employee benefits
Juris doctor degree at accredited law school
Minimum of three years of substantive experience in executive compensation and employee benefits or similar practice in-house or at a law firm
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
