We are seeking a transactional real estate attorney with significant office and retail leasing experience to join our legal team as in-house counsel. This individual will work closely with, and report to, company executives as well as senior in-house counsel. The primary duties consist of handling all aspects of office and retail leases and vendor contracts, but experience handling purchase and sale, financing and construction – related transactions is a plus. Additional duties include support to acquisitions and asset management personnel (e.g., due diligence review, tenant correspondence, letter of intent review, etc.).
The successful candidate will be able to multi-task and operate in a dynamic, high-paced environment, and exercise good business judgment while providing outstanding legal advice.
* Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a transactional commercial real estate leasing attorney in California; purchase and sale, financing, and construction experience is beneficial
* Both law firm and in-house experience preferred
* JD from top law school preferred; admitted to the California State Bar
Additional Salary Information: Pay will be commensurate with experience and is for a salaried position
