Coleman/Nourian has been exclusively engaged to conduct a search for a lawyer with experience gained in a top law firm and/or a corporate setting to join its law department. The company believes that 3-5 years of experience is the ideal amount for the level of work and responsibility associated with this role. Our client, an international, technologically-advanced specialty manufacturer seeks a transactional/commercial attorney for its company headquarters. This attorney will be responsible for supporting the contracts administration program as well as providing general legal support to all business functions within the company (including Sales, Procurement, HR, etc.). Reporting to the General Counsel, the ideal candidate will have transactional experience with an emphasis on commercial agreements review, drafting and negotiation. In addition to transactions and commercial contracts, this role might include some IP, employment, litigation, environmental, and real estate related matters. The lawyer will have extensive contact with senior level business people so he or she should be self-confident, skilled at juggling many matters at a time, politically astute and highly articulate. The lawyer needs to be business minded and comfortable dealing with hard charging personalities.
