Private Equity Firm has a need for a bright Commercial Real Estate Attorney with the ideal candidate having 1-4 years’ experience. The candidate will gain significant exposure to the investment in, and operation of, commercial retail real estate assets, work alongside some of the most respected and talented professionals in commercial real estate, and develop his or her skills as a well-rounded real estate legal professional. Responsibilities include:
Preparing, negotiating, reviewing, analyzing and abstracting retail leases and miscellaneous lease documents.
Reviewing, analyzing and summarizing title and survey matters, negotiating title policies and endorsements, preparing, negotiating, reviewing and abstracting REAs and other instruments of record, and performing rigorous acquisition due diligence as needed.
Forming entities and preparing corporate organizational documents, including operating agreements and authorizing consents and resolutions.
Drafting and negotiating real estate transaction documents for acquisition, disposition, re-development and financing transactions.
Performing legal research tasks and special projects as needed.
Law school graduate, admitted to practice in the State of Florida, with strong record of academic achievement and knowledge of commercial real estate.
One (1) to five (5) years of practice experience in commercial real estate, preferably in a large law firm environment representing real estate companies, REITs, funds, and/or other institutional owners and investors. (Recent law school graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered.)
